How to get it
Gather it with Mining 65 using a pickaxe on Dragon Vein nodes in Starfall Mining Cave. Buy it from Slayer Quartermaster Vael in Slayer House for 8 Slayer Points. It drops from The Bloated Sovereign (22% ×1–3). It is in the clear rewards of Fire and Flames (Normal and Hard). It can come out of Ornate Blue Chest, Ornate Gold Chest, Ornate Red Chest and 1 other chest.

It is a crafting ingredient for 4 items through Smithing: Dragon Helmet (3), Dragon Chestplate (4), Dragon Boots (2) and Dragon Bar (2). The number is how many one craft uses.
