A fire-bound tome, heaviest of the battlemage's books. A deep mana pool and quick regen to nuke from the heart of melee.

What it is

A Book weapon. Equip it from your bag; kills made while wielding it train your Book Mastery, and your Book Mastery decides which of its abilities you can use.

You need Book Mastery 30 to equip it.

Tradeable with other players.

How to get it

The Fuel Lock gives it on turn-in if you hand it in holding a weapon of this style. It drops from Vurthek, the Cinderborn (16%). It is in the clear rewards of Fungus Domain (Hard) and The Dark Cave (Normal).

What it's for

Break it down from your bag into 12–18 Ember Ash. While equipped it gives +75 Ability Power, +90 Max Mana, +5.5 Mana Regen and +40 Max Health.
